The pastors of CBC want to invite you on a life-changing journey! Every year, we want to invest our lives in small groups of people who are hungry to know and follow Christ. We want to model a life of submitting to, spreading, and savoring the reign of King Jesus and equip you to follow Him too.

Discipleship Training will mix learning with doing, study with practicing, and doctrine with living. We will use a variety of tools, including Bible study, audio sermons, weekly face-to-face meetings, accountability, memorization, practical ministry, reading, prayer—and even a slow-paced, but deliberate study of the Greek language.

Discipleship Training is different than a traditional "Bible Study" because the focus will be on equipping you to follow Jesus in the real world. During the first year, you will:

• Be trained and personally coached in studying and interpreting the Bible as we study passage by passage through Romans 1-6.
• Learn to apply the Bible in your daily walk with Christ
• Learn all the books of the Bible
• Develop a biblical theology of evangelism
• Be trained and personally coached in sharing the gospel

In subsequent years, we will continue to build upon this foundation, continue our study of Romans and Biblical Greek while adding concentrated work in the following areas:

• Year 2: Personal evangelism and your gifting for ministry
• Year 3: Soul care and counseling in the body of Christ
• Year 4: Leadership and teaching

Our goal is to make real true disciples who really honor Christ and make a real difference in the real world!
